Today is launched!

Why on earth do we need another organisation with Global Health in the title? links up individuals who work or want to work in low and middle income countries across the world.

Many working in healthcare are interested in contributing beyond their day-to-day job. But finding reliable information about how to get our there and actually do it is difficult. When we have questions about necessary experience, travel, accommodation, safety, visas, grants, zika, equipment and the many other questions, who can we ask? This network brings together those with experience and enthusiasm.

We are keen to link up colleagues based in low income countries, particularly those at a junior level, with funding, educational, and research opportunities.

It amazing to find out how many of our colleagues have experience of working in low income countries that we knew nothing about. We hope to share expertise through a series of blogs and discussions, and encourage younger members of the team to get involved.
